One of my favorite software developers, BeLight Software, has announced the release of its popular vector drawing package, Amadine, for the iPad and iPhone. A version for macOS was released 18 months ago, and Belight says it had so many requests for an iPhone/iPad version and it decided to set about producing for handheld devices
Amadine for iPad or iPhone contains all the full features of the macOS version but also extends productivity with features specific to iOS including gestures and support for the Apple pencil so that users can broaden their creative horizons with the app.
All the document types that can be created with the macOS version can also be produced using the iOS app. Amadine for iPhone and iPad can create print projects such as posters, flyers and brochures. It’s also ideal for creating illustrations for books, websites, lettering and calligraphy. Belight says it’s perfect for mocking up UX interfaces, web banners, adverts and print layouts. It can also be used for designing logos, branding and even packaging. Amadine can produce beautiful-looking pie charts, graphs and tables.
The iOS/iPadOS version of the Amadine makes intuitive use of gestures that can be used with serious precision, even on small screens. BeLight Software says Amadine for iOS and iPadOS will be available on the App Store for free from December 8 and the full version in-app can be purchased for just $9.99.
